The challenge today is to see if we can make Thai Iced Tea like the pros in Thailand. Wish us luck!

This is very very easy to make it if you make it in a non traditional way. Today we experimented making it like the pros in Thailand but also found an easy way you can bring all those flavors home. Cheers to a cup of ice tea, just like they make it in Thailand.
In a sauce-pot bring water to a boil.
Place tea sock in a heatproof cup, for steeping the tea.
Add the tea to the tea sock.
Pour boiling water into the tea sock, lift it in and out of the cup to steep the tea and extract all the flavor.
Steep the tea for a several minutes until it turns dark in color. The flavor should be stronger than you would expect as it will be diluted with the sweetened condensed milk and ice.
Taking a new cup, pour in 1 glass of hot tea and half the sweetened condensed milk, and stir...Serve over ice OR shake in cocktail shaker OR A proper Thai iced tea should have a little froth or some bubbles on top, to properly do this, take 2 pitchers, and pour the tea from one to the other, with a bit of elevation. Froth and bubbles will get more and more the longer you pour back and forth with a good amount of separation between each pitcher. practice makes perfect.
Fill a Glass with crushed ice
Gently pour your hot tea mixture over the cup of ice, add more ice as necessary
This recipe makes two servings, Enjoy
