So about 5 years ago we got a request to make this... I think we did ok.OK, it was a fail and our long long supporter +dRRE has been patiently waiting 5 years for us to try this again...We think we mastered it and highly recommend you make these yourself with our new and improved recipes.
To to begin we're going to need to make a batter/dough. Mix together 1 Cup of Warm water with and 2 Tbsp Sugar. Then add in our active dry yeast packet and mix that together. Wait for it get foamy, around 5 - 15 minutes.
Now add in 1-3/4 cup all purpose flour and 1/2 tsp of salt and mix this together until there are no more lumps.
Let this set for 1 hour... we're basically making a wet bread.
Skewer the hot dog. For the Cheese version cut the hotdog in half and cut cheese to the same size and skewer them together.
Coat in batter around the skewer and attach the breading of your choice.
Deep fry at 350F for roughly 3 minutes or until crispy.
Let cool and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauces!!
